As a former chef with 18 years of experience, I wanted to show the world an authentic glimpse into the life of a chef. While many photographers focus on the food or traditional portraits of chefs with their creations, my lens gravitates toward the chefs themselves and the dynamic energy of the back of the house. This kitchen the heart of any restaurant is where essential workers dedicate themselves, often unseen, to their craft.

No matter the celebration happening in the outside world, chefs and kitchen teams continue working tirelessly in tight, hot environments. Their passion and resilience deserve to be celebrated and remembered, and through my photography.
